Friends, family and those I encounter on a daily basis squeeze the clay. Their hand-print forms the body. I, in turn, create the head, in relation to this shape. Each shape is unique, as each person handles the clay in their own way. To reflect this, the personality of each face I create is unique. This reflexive process is the basis for every figure created. This project creates tactile space for emotional connections to others through the process of co-making.
