The MAC Belfast — Community Artist in Residence 2023
As Community Artist in Residence at The MAC Belfast in 2023, Kerrie collaborated with participants from Action Mental Health on a co-design project exploring creativity, connection, and resilience.
Through a series of digital illustration workshops, participants learned to create their own digital drawings — each one a unique bird. These illustrations were then gathered into one collective artwork: a flock representing the strength found in community and shared experience.
The final work took flight across the city, displayed on billboards throughout Belfast as part of a public art campaign. Acting as an anti-advert, the billboards offered a gentle reminder of hope, wellbeing, and the power of community.
